Ah, the glorious twelfth.

Don't get us wrong, although we enjoy our beef, pork and lamb all year round, there's just something about the promise of seeing deliciously wild and varied natural meats returning to the butcher's block every Autumn that excites us.

We're blessed to be based in Bristol, a vibrant city just a short drive from the rolling hills of the Somerset & Wiltshire countryside. Our owner Adam and master butcher Dave will often shoot much of the game that appears in our counter themselves from small, local shoots; whilst also working closely with skilled dealers and trusted stalkers that shoot on nearby estates - helping ensure that each wild animal has been sourced ethically, humanely and safely.

 

GUIDE TO GAME

Although there are regional differences between Scotland, England and Wales throughout the season, the 12th of August marks the start of the game season in England, kicking off with Red Grouse.

RABBIT & HARE

Available all year round, but as with all game, supply cannot be guaranteed.

VENISON

Different breeds are stalked depending on the season, including Red Deer, Roe Deer & Fallow.
